Coronavirus - Letter to our Community

11th May 2020

Dear Community Members,

I am writing this letter to everyone in our community; our children, families, staff, trustees and governors.

Yesterday, the Prime Minister made the announcement that there maybe changes coming in the near future.  The trust and its schools heard this announcement at the same time as you and we await further information over the coming days.  We are clear that we will continue to operate as if we are in lockdown until further notice and that  there will be no changes to the provision at this moment.  We are currently  making plans and developing ideas to ensure that we can move forward and once we have more information we will discuss our plans with everyone.  I can assure you that these plans will be based, not only on the national need, but also on those of our local community and our schools.

Over the next few weeks we will continue to communicate with you on our plans but in the meantime I would ask that you continue with the current lockdown arrangements and doing what you have been doing.   I am aware that there will be many of you who will be concerned or confused about what has been announced but want to assure you that we will not take further steps until we are clear and have a plan that is entirely based on everyone being as safe as possible.

Please continue to keep up to date with the information that we send but know that we are working diligently to get more of our children back to school when it is safe to do so.

As always, thank you so much for everything that you are doing and please remember that by working together we can, and will, get back to some form of normality.

Best wishes,

Paul Harris
