Ranelagh have been awarded GOLD in the School Mental Health Award
Ranelagh Primary and Nursery School has been awarded a GOLD Primary Geography Quality Mark. The Geography Quality Mark is a prestigious award which recognises and promotes quality and progress in geography leadership, curriculum development and learning and teaching in schools. When analysing the quality of geography at Ranelagh, the assessor noted:
"Geographically meaningful and memorable contexts are provided which allow pupils to accumulate varied learning experiences. There is a very good range of fieldwork done and the children get out and look at the geography of their local area."
After already securing 2 Pearson Silver Awards, we recently learnt the wonderful news that Kensington have been shortlisted for a TES 2020 Award, in the Wellbeing and Mental Health category. They are down to the last 8 in the country selected from all schools nationally, not only limited to primary schools. This is an incredible achievement, and we are looking forward to finding out who the winner is at a live online ceremony on November 13th.

It has just been announced that Kensington Primary School is the only school in the country to be awarded 2 Pearson National Teaching Silver Awards – one of the most prestigious awards in education. These were awarded to:
Helen Harris, SENDCO at Kensington Primary School, who has won The Award for Excellence in Special Needs Education.
Kensington Primary School for The Award for Making a Difference – Primary School of the Year.
This is a huge accomplishment and testament to the work the school did to become a key part of its local community, and really pay attention to the needs of each child within the school.
