World Book Day 2021 at Kensington Primary School

Every year ‘World Book Day’ spreads a powerful and positive message about books and reading, a message that was loud and clear at Kensington Primary School yesterday. Children were excited to share and celebrate their favourite books and characters.

Parents and local community members have shown exceptional generosity by collecting book donations, ready to distribute to children at Kensington Primary School. Some children currently at school were able to select a book or two each to keep and read at home.

Assistant Head Teacher Mr Hope said that ‘it was a humbling experience to see the children’s reactions, the children were so appreciative and so keen to read their chosen book and to take these home.’
