The Tapscott Learning Trust Pupil Parliament is a mixture of student leaders from schools within the Trust. Children in the Pupil Parliament work together to improve a broad range of topics and areas across the schools and contribute to make a real difference within our communities.
The Pupil Parliament children are the elected members of each school's School Council Chair and Vice Chair. The Pupil Parliament meet with Trustees on a termly basis to share ideas, and both ask and answer questions of the board – this has always been part of our original aims and vision for the Trust. It is so important that our children’s voices are heard.
The Pupil Parliament also play an important role in our annual TTLT Awards Ceremony.
Pupil Parliament paid a visit to City Hall and can be seen here sitting at round table in the conference room where the Mayor holds the Mayor’s Question Time. This was an opportunity for Pupil Parliament to experience and learn about democracy first hand!
